Biester Palace & Park
Biester Palace entry is located between the historic center of Sintra an Regaleira Palace & Park. It has a lavish landscape and was constructed in the last decades of the 19th century. Designed by the Portuguese architect José Luiz Monteiro, was decorated mainly by Leandro de Souza Braga an Luigi Manini.
The Biester Palace presents great historical a lovely artistic importance and reflects a wealthy style of influence with modernity and a decorative program. Surrounded by Biester Park which is possible to visit, it has wonderful and exuberant species. The Biester Park concept was developed by the French Landscapist François Nogré, creating two beautiful viewpoints from where is possible to sight the Moorish Castle. About Architect José Luiz Monteiro besides Biester Palace & Park
Born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1948 and besides of the Biester Palace in Sintra, also developed several other key monuments, constructions or gardens.
Most famous perhaps : Main Builing of Rossio Train Station, Queen House D.Maria Pia in Estoril, Avenida Palace Hotel (near Restauradores and Rossio), among many others projects. He worked in partnership Frederico Ressano Garcia, with the Project of Parque Eduardo VII.
